Currently shooting.  This massive open ended project, in which we get people to tell us the story of their lives, is up to Episode 20 so far.  Each one hour episode is an intimate look into lives of ordinary Australians.  From fuel merchants and Judges to painters and survivors from the 70s each episode is a hypnotic and at times emotional journey.  We discover the lives each person has lead but we also learn about the context in which these people lived.  So there’s the history of surfing in Bondi, drugs and the R&R Vietnam scene, the dilemmas of a rock star, the underworld in Melbourne and the gay scene in Sydney.  This is a wildly varied group of people and the stories they tell are the unvarnished insight into the extraordinary lives of ordinary people.
