Bruce Milliss at the Royal Commission into espionage with his solicitor outside Darlinghusr Court. As a Member of the ALP and the Communist Party at the same time Bruce Milliss was perfect for connecting the ALP to Communist subversion. Bruce Milliss perjured himself before the Commission by denying he was a member of the communist party. ASIO knew this to be untrue and presented a large dossier of proof to the commission which refused to prosecute. The Milliss family were marked from then on.

This photo graph was taken by ASIO at Bruce Milliss' funeral in 1970. Bert Chandler who joined Milliss and Ted Hill in leaving the Communist Party to form the Communist Party-Marxist Leninist (CP-ML) following the Chinese line is seen on the left.

Taken at Bruce Milliss' funeral, ASIO believed these people were attendees. Bruce's son Roger confirmed these people are unknown to him.
More mistaken attendees. ASIO went through Bruce Milliss' will to establish where any money he had was being moved to.
Bruce Millis with Ted Hill, leader of the China line Communist Party Marxist Leninist, photographed buy ASIO at an airport meeting. Although Bruce Milliss hgad run a number of front companies for the Communist Party he followed Hill when he split from the mainstream party in the early 1960s. It was assumed that Milliss was a source of funds for the new party. He left Hill one third of his estate when he dies in 1970.
