         PANDEMONIUM @ VIVID SYDNEY 2017

The Vivid festival will screen our legendary gothic fairytale PANDEMONIUM this coming Thursday night, June 15 @ 8pm in the Cross. It's a simple story of a young girl who washes up on Bondi beach in search of her parents and the answer to a question.  Why did they try to sacrifice her at Ayers Rock all those years ago?  Saved by dingos and brought up as one of their own she's back and she's pissed off.
Starring David Argue and Amanda Dole with a special guest appearance by VIVID Sydney Director Ignatius Jones who will do a Q&A afterwards this is one of the most notorious movies ever made in Australia.  Can you cope with the shocking truth?

Bookings very advisable but don't leave it till late.  BOOK HERE

Clip Of The Week

Here's a short clip from our award winning movie 27A.  Reminiscent of Raoul Coutard's legendary hand holding for Jean-Luc Godard, Director of Photography Michael Edols lets Australian screen legend Bill Hunter show his power in this dynamic sequence.  27A is available from our catalogue

Ten Years In An Open Necked Shirt

SYNOPSIS:  John Cooper Clarke is a poet, storyteller and comic commentator who became a central figure in the remarkable revival of British poetry in the late twentieth century. Often referred to as the Bard Of Salford he came to prominence during the punk explosion of the 1970s when he opened for bands such as the Sex Pistols, The Fall, Joy Division, the Buzzcocks and Elvis Costello. He survived the punk explosion and today has a large and varied following with his poems appearing as signature pieces on TV in “The Sopranos” and in films such as “Control” and “All Tomorrow’s Parties”

Ten Years In An Open Necked Shirt mixes concert footage and interviews with interpreted and dramatised treatments of his work. John Cooper Clarke and his story are as engaging as the imagery in his poetry.

Here's an interview with John in our "Heros" section.
